Constructed of a dark grey wool base, the obverse bearing an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath executed in silver aluminum wire, topped by a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika of identical construction, overlaying a stylized machine embroidered black cloud from which a lightning bolt emanates and strikes the ground, unmarked, measuring 50 mm (w) x 62 mm (h), a rare cloth version
