Spain, Facsist State. A War Cross, Breast Star, C.1940 certificate_of_authenticity North Front on Tuesday(Cruz de Guerra). Instituted in 1938. Type I, Insignia in silver gilt with red, white and blue enamels, mounted to an eight pointed silver star base, each star point with five pairs of faceted rays, with a single pair of faceted rays between each star point, unmarked, the type I breast star issued between 1938 and 1942, measuring 61. 3 mm (w) x 60. 5 mm (h), vertical pinback, fine chipping evident in the blue enamels on the centrepiece ring, otherwise
