An EM/NCO’s M42 Field Cap, by LAGO-Wien consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac Silver breast star with a(Heer Schiffchen M42 fr Mannschaften). A well preserved Heer M42 field cap, constructed of coarse field grey wool. The cap is surrounded by fold down side walls, slightly scalloped toward the front, which provide optional ear and neck protection to the wearer.
