The full triptych was originally published in 1840 (the 11th month) by Izumiya Ichibei and is entitled 'Play: Kaeribana Yuki no Takeda'. The triptych depicts actors (from left to right) Sawamura Tossh I as Sait Ryk, Iwai Shijaku I as Tsuwaka Mybu no Kami, and, Ichikawa Ebiz V as Onikojima Yatar.
