Brass Bound Teak Military Chest From Rajasthan - 19th Century Indonesia This 19th century Indian carvedThis antique brass bound Anglo Indian military chest dates to the 19th century and is the perfect size for a coffee table. It is constructed from beautifully patinated Burmese teak wood and has its original brass and iron fittings and handles. The interior consists of one large space, and there is a stopper along the back which prevents the lid from falling open. Military chests were used by officers of the British Indian Army to carry their kit and
